Can It be used with real fire?
Every BOL menorah ships with a full set of custom made adapters, so you can use any standard "tiki" torch with it. Simply unscrew the plastic light cover, insert the adapter, and drop in your "tiki" torch. Refillable torch canisters are commonly available at home centers, hardware stores or online. The typical diameter is 7cm. Don't forget to buy the fuel!
Can I get replacent bulbs/parts easily if needed?
Replacement parts are available here and can be shipped to your door overnight! compatible bulbs are available online and at hardware stores, but our custom version is brighter, and has a unique reddish-orange hue.
Are there lights on both sides?
Yes.
Is the menorah strong?
Yes. The menorah is built from durable aluminum extrusions and has passed structural stress testing for outdoor conditions. Its base — the widest of any menorah on the market — is engineered for stability, while still folding flat for storage. If you ever run into a structural issue, contact us and we'll make it right.
Will I need sandbags?
The wide base provides significant stability allowing the menorah to stand safely in average conditions. If there is a risk of strong gusts or high speed winds, measures such as sandbags are reccomended.
How tall is the menorah?
The full height of the flagship model is 10 feet. A 6 foot model is also available.
Can it be run on batteries?
It is possible to run the menorah on batteries, specific power information and reccomendations are available upon request.
Will it fit in my car?
The collapsed menorah can fit in most vehicles, for full sized cars, the rear seat should be opened to the trunk (almost all cars have a way to do this).
Can it change colors?
Our LEDS are one color only.
Is it easy to assemble?
Our menorahs are specifically designed from the ground up for easy, drop in, tool free setup. No ladders, frozen fingers, or headaches. Check out our quick setup video here
